With the merger of Fine Decor and Schattdecor years of design expertise in the field of solid colors and decor printing have come together, along with pioneering technology, for the production of sustainable lacquer laminate surfaces. The two companies are united in their first joint product – Fineflex.
Through a patented lacquering process we achieve a surface with a unique feel and anti-fingerprint effect. It is particularly easy to clean and resistant to external influences. Thanks to optimum moisture resistance, Fineflex is ideal for use in kitchens and bathrooms. Due to its outstanding processing properties, Fineflex is the environmentally friendly alternative for 2D lamination, as a thermoforming film for three-dimensional surfaces and wrapping or postforming.
In a unique manufacturing process, we can produce new furniture surfaces using recycled material from PET. With our stock collection of 14 solid colors, customers can choose from super matte to high gloss, according to current trend and project requirements.
Being mindful of current trends and environmentally aware, we are working to expand our joint product portfolio. In addition to PET-based solid colors and metallic-effect film, we will also be offering you this innovative substrate with decor printing or structure in the future.

Haptic in a new dimension
For years, the topic of haptics has been growing considerably in the realm of decorative surfaces. The motto here is that more is more: more haptics, more naturalness. With Fineflex Structure, the evolution of our Fineflex Metallic collection, we offer new added value in surface design. Customers can now not only choose from trendsetting metallic colors, but also enhance them with visual stimuli, such as the embossed structure effect of Fineflex Structure. The product is currently available in various trend colors and will be exhibited at Sicam 2023 in "Shell White," "Pearl Bronze," and "Sky Blue."
The embossed surface is ideal for use on furniture and its moisture resistance makes it ideal for bathrooms or kitchens. Here, the product also features a modern anti-fingerprint effect. Fineflex Structure is suitable for flat lamination and wrapping. In cooperation with Rehau, we supply the complete package for the start of your product development. We already offer you the matching edgebands for the Sicam colors mentioned, so that you can integrate this component directly into your processes.

Our Fineflex films have a multi-layered structure and, depending on the design and color group, are made of up to 80 percent recycled material.
Depending on the area of application and individual requirements, the coating is available in various finishes: from super matte with anti-fingerprint properties to a high gloss surface.

Depending on the version, Fineflex is ideally suited for 2D lamination, as a thermoforming sheet for three-dimensional surfaces and for wrapping or postforming. Thanks to its moisture resistance, the surface is not only ideal for furniture surfaces, but is also particularly suitable for use in such humid areas as kitchens and bathrooms.
Our Fineflex films are available in thicknesses between 200 and 600μ, depending on the design and further processing of the product.
Our maximum product width is 1.600 mm. Fineflex is delivered in rolls with an average roll diameter of 450-500 mm, depending on the thickness of the film.
